ABOUT CARE
Climate change, green house gas emissions, carbon offsets, and more.. need to be considered within social, public health and cultural contexts.
The Visual Arts can provide an avenue by which we can absorb, process, inhabit and integrate the meanings of climate change and healthy place-making into our lives. The Arts can inspire us to acknowledge that we are part of nature and not separate from it. CARE can help transform ideas into realities, and setbacks into solutions, working collaboratively towards growth and sustainability, bringing nature based solutions and art together.

Communities are often more willing to work with someone in the arts than with a corporate organization. The Arts can stretch, facilitate and create avenues for different groups to come together to co-design solutions to address health and resilience. |
It’s much harder to make ourselves climate change ready if we don’t know what to do and how to act locally – and what better way to learn but by working on a real climate change project together– open and intergenerational knowledge creation is what C.A.R.E facilitates.. |
C.A.R.E’s goal is to reflect on how environments can become healthier and eco-climate friendly, and how art can help inform the public about climate change and healthy place-making. |
OUR GOAL support the connections we share - one health, one world |
Proposal for eco-art murals for city centres - creating visual artworks to support and extend urban ecological habitats.
